I love portrait painting. As a result of the pandemic, I stay home most of the time. One night I decided to use my macro lens which I used to photograph flowers to take photos of the paintings in my collection. This is the head shot of a full size painting of a young French general. At least to me, it turns out pretty good?

Unfortunately I don't know who the artist is. It was bought as a so called museum quality reproduction painting many years ago in an antique store. This explains why it was so well painted!
